Rural Mural is a community-driven public art initiative supported by Flint Energies that brings large-scale murals to downtowns across Middle Georgia. What began as a way to celebrate local identity has grown into a regional effort that connects communities through art, storytelling, and shared pride.
Today, the Rural Mural initiative includes 15 murals across 10 cities and 8 counties, created by a diverse group of talented artists working alongside local leaders, businesses, and residents. Each mural reflects the unique history, culture, and spirit of the community where it lives — turning everyday spaces into meaningful destinations.
